Section 2 — Safety Should Be Built Into the Foundation
Reporting, moderation, enforcement, appeals and administrative oversight are planned from the beginning, not added later.
The goal isn't to eliminate disagreement — it's meaningful protection against harmful and prohibited behavior, plus privacy and account-security controls including public and private account options.

Reports involving exploitation, threats, coercion, sexual extortion, or risks to minors should receive urgent handling rather than ordinary moderation treatment. Kennect maintains procedures for preserving and reporting information to authorities where required by law.

Report anything that breaks the rules
A 'Report' button appears on posts, comments, someone's page, messages that aren't yours, and communities you don't own. A person at Kennect reviews each report; the person reported is never told who filed it.
Block cuts off contact both ways
Blocking stops both people from finding, messaging or seeing each other. Neither person is told. You can unblock at any time.
See your own standing, and appeal
Your standing shows anything Kennect has done about your account and lets you appeal it. Appeals are reviewed, where possible, by a different person than the one who made the original decision.

Kennect's Beta Privacy Notice explains what's collected, kept and shared while Kennect is in beta, written straight from the product's own configuration rather than a generic template. It will be replaced by a full policy before public launch.
